Frankenmuth and Midland among Michigan's Top 10 Driving Destinations

FRANKENMUTH, MI - By car, Michigan's Little Bavaria is the state's top travel destination.

That is according to AAA Michigan, which listed the cities Michigan and out-of-state residents travel to most by car.

Midland and Mount Pleasant rounded out the listed at nine and 10, respectively.

Frankenmuth features Zehnder's and the Bavarian Inn restaurants, unique shops and Bronner's Christmas Wonderland, along with many festivals throughout the year.

In Midland, the city has Dow Gardens and the Great Lakes Loons.

Soaring Eagle Casino is one of Mount Pleasant's top destinations, along with Central Michigan University athletics.
