Nothing is better than a walk, bike ride, (or even winter hike) along a scenic, natural trail. Unless, of course, that trail is connected to miles upon miles of other trails, all ripe for the exploring. That's why a huge part of our work is not only to forge new paths, but to connect existing ones – bringing together the people and the places we love.
Explore the Great Lakes Bay Regional Trail, a non-motorized trail system, which includes existing and new trails across our three counties of Bay, Midland and Saginaw. By connecting our trails, we're also connecting our unique destinations and the incredible people who live, work and visit here. Whether you bike, hike, skate or ski the pathways, you'll find plenty of wildlife, flowers and outdoor fun. Hit trails in Bay City, Birch Run, Chesaning, Frankenmuth, Midland and Saginaw to explore Michigan's natural beauty. And, if you're not able to bring your own gear, many bicycle shops rent bicycles and other gear. Just call ahead when you're ready to roll.
