Details
This will be a 30-minute class focused on the lifecycle and caring necessities of a tomato. Participants will be given the opportunity to explore tomatoes through a tomato field and learn how they are grown in Michigan. They will then complete a lifecycle activity where they will draw each stage of the lifecycle. After the activity, participants will get to venture out into the field and pick some tomatoes to take home!
Learning Objectives:
- Discuss how tomatoes are grown.
- Identify the order of a tomatoes lifecycle.
- Practice hand-eye coordination skills.
