Nature Craft Club: Winter Comforts Greeting Cards

Join Little Forks Conservancy for Nature Craft Club, a series that combines creativity and sustainability. Each session features a unique crafting activity inspired by the environment or created with recycled materials. December's craft will be Winter Comforts Greeting Cards with local artist Julie Welsh on December 11th from 6-8 PM at Stranded Yarn & Coffee.

What:
Celebrate the changing season making fun greeting cards to send to family and friends! No experience necessary. A great way to get introduced to some collage art basics and make new friends! Kits and supplies provided for participants. Registration is $5 and spots are limited to 15.

About the Artist:
Michigan based artist Julie Welsh has been honing her skills creating mixed media artwork since 2009. Her primary focus is on the use of paper ephemera in collage and mail art. In recent years Julie has expanded her body of work to include serious explorations of current issues. She has taught various mixed media classes at Creative 360 and Nature Niche.
