Mark your calendars for Thursday, November 9! Self Love Beauty (SLB) is bringing their Mother & Daughter event for girls ages 6-18 and their female mentors (including biological, adoptive, step, and foster parents, grandparents, aunts, or others in the community serving as a mentor) to the Freeland Sportszone in Freeland, MI from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. This event will focus on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) and help to build confidence and strengthen the connection between child and mentor.

SLB’s Mother & Daughter event is an opportunity for girls and their adult female mentors to come together for a fun night of learning, talking, and doing aimed at building stronger bonds, improving communication and strengthening relationships. SLB will facilitate the experience by leading participants through a series of activities focused on creating connections and allowing the participants to grow in confidence while engaging in a STEM-based activity with support from the important women in their lives.

The cost is $25.00 per adult and $15.00 per child, which includes dinner, entry to the event focused on activities around STEM, connection, and confidence activities, and a project to complete and take home after.
