Welcome to Bay City’s best keep secret! Authentic Italian pizza and pasta is our passion. A true mom and pop establishment, owners Kevin and Jen Novellino met while living in Key West, Florida. Kevin is a New York native, while Jen calls Bay City, Michigan her hometown. True love brought the pair back to Michigan to raise a family. Family is what is really important to us and when you dine with us, we consider you family. Brooklyn Boyz uses only quality ingredients and fresh produce in every dish. As the economy changes, more and more restaurants are skimping on quality and quantity to give you the same dish. At Brooklyn Boyz, we promise to never skimp on quality because flavor cannot be sacrificed. Choose from a large array of crowd pleasing appetizers, hand crafted pizza, pasta, oven baked subs, garden fresh salads, strombolis, calzones and tantalizing desserts. There’s something here for everyone. What makes us unique? Traditional Italian cooking. We use fresh crushed roma tomatoes in our authentic Italian pizza sauce, marinara and meat sauce. We grate our own 100% mozzarella cheese fresh from the block. Our pizza dough is made with extra virgin olive oil and hand rolled to perfection. Arancini Balls? Fresh fried mozzarella? We give old school appetizers a fresh new twist here at Brooklyn Boyz. Gone are the days of buying pre-done food and dropping it in a deep fryer. We go back to the basics and do it up right. That’s right….cooking from scratch. Garlic knots have made us famous. Now it’s time to try what it’s really all about. Quality, pride in craftsmanship and good old-fashioned love. Pasta like grandma used to make? Our marinara slow simmers for 8 hours before we even think of serving it to you. Our bolognese style meat sauce simmers for 6 sweet hours to perfection while our ragu Bolognese that we layer our lasagna with, well, that only simmers for 2 hours, but you get the point. Every dish we serve is made authentically. No corners cut here, just real quality pizza baked in our stone hearth ovens, pasta that willl blow your socks off and appetizers that will leave you begging for more! Remember to round your meal off right—with dessert! Traditional Tiramisu Spongecake, New York style Cheesecake, Berry Sticks and our infamous Cinnamon Knots leave your mouth watering for more.
