The U.S.S. Edson DD-946 is a destroyer that is a National Historic Landmark, she also is a Michigan Historic Landmark. Tour the Saginaw Valley Naval Ship Museum permanently moored in Bay City. Commissioned on November 7, 1958, it was decommissioned on December 15, 1988. It is a Forrest Sherman-class destroyer prevalent in the Vietnam War. It was finally brought to Bay City in the summer of 2012. Overnight lodging on the U.S.S. Edson DD-946 available for groups of 10 or more. Call for group rates. Open for tours daily.
