Dinosaur Fish: The Effort to Restore Lake Sturgeon in the Saginaw Bay

Details

A long-term effort to reintroduce Lake Sturgeon to the region, whose numbers stand at less than 1% of its historic population, has seen great success rearing and releasing fingerlings into four rivers in the watershed. This documentary film details the effort to bring this dinosaur back from the brink of extinction.

A Q&A session will be held at the end of the program, hosted by Mike Kelly, Director of the Great Lakes Office for The Conservation Fund.

This is a free event.
