The Dow Championship Invites You to Join Us for ROCK the BLOCK!

Rock the Block is a free, family-friendly community event that brings together live entertainment, interactive activities, local vendors, nonprofits, and appearances by LPGA players-All in the heart of Downtown Midland.

Rock the Block's Dog Days of Summer theme has many activities such as:
– Meet LPGA players & get autographs
– Line dancing and live DJ entertainment by Dean Rusch
– Balloon artist fun for all ages
– Adorable adoptable dogs from Midland Humane Society & Humane Animal Treatment Society
– Delicious eats from local downtown restaurants
– A special appearance by our beloved mascot, Champ

Whether you’re a golf fan, dog lover, or just here for the food and fun—there’s something for everyone.
This event is hosted by Outlyr and is designed to raise awareness and excitement for the Dow Championship LPGA tournament, which takes place on June 26-29, 2025., at the Midland Country Club.

  • Aviator Cookie – S’mores cookie
  • Heather ‘n Holly – Paw + Bone shaped chocolates (and pup cups for dogs)

    Three Bridges Distillery – Bark side of the moon (spiced rum & coke), sniff & sip (our Spanish gin & tonic), pup cup (cinnamon old fashioned with whipped cream and a scooby snack cracker), and Corki (any glass of our wine)
