Join Clare & Gladwin Conservation District Forester, Mike Dittenber, as he leads a hike at Little Forks Conservancy's George & Sue Lane Preserve. Attendees will find evidence of past human influences and will use this evidence in combination with biological clues to infer about past disturbances and management practices at this 270-acre nature preserve. Participants will hike about 1 mile on rustic dirt and grass paths through hilly, uneven terrain. Attendees will meet at the unpaved lot off M-18 at 5135 M-18, Gladwin MI 48624 to begin this hike. This event is free to attend.
