Bring family and friends to enjoy a premier outdoor activity, Michigan Fishing for Free at our What's the Catch? Fish If You Can! Event.
All fishing license fees are waived. Residents and out-of-state visitors can enjoy fishing on inland and Great Lakes' waters for all species of fish. All fishing regulations will still apply.
A Recreation Passport will NOT be required for entry into state parks and boating access sites during the Free Fishing Event.

Free Loaner Pole & Bait, Free Parking, Free Fishing. Includes a family fishing derby, youth fishing clinic, kid's casting contest, special How-To programs, exhibits & presentations, and more. Program will get your family hooked on fishing.
