What can you do with a potato masher, aluminum foil, and an egg carton? Find out in this fun class where we use a silicone plate and a variety of techniques to create unique monochromatic prints. A great opportunity to build your own one-of-a-kind paper stash. We will review the basics and start “taking the pull.” Suitable for both beginner and experienced gel printers.
This is a popular class and seats are limited. A suggested supply list will be provided at registration. With Julie Welsh.
NOTE: All basic supplies (8x10 gel plate, paint, brayer, paper, tools for mark making, aprons) will be provided. Printing can be messy so dress appropriately.
The following are suggested items you may want to bring but no need to purchase:
• 6-8 of your favorite acrylic paint colors including white (any brand)
• Rubber/Foam stamps
• Stencils
Also, clean items from the recycle bin – think junk mail, envelopes, packaging…
A handout will be shared during the class with ideas and tips.
