With spring in the air, a visit to the Homestead Farm will connect you to our local natural resources and rich history.
Step back in time at CNC's log cabin, timber frame barn and one-room school for a family friendly afternoon at the Homestead Farm and Log Schoolhouse. Weekly themed activities will be available throughout the afternoon. You may get to try your hand at grinding corn, pumping water, writing on a slate board, working in the garden, tilling the field or watering the animals.
The Homestead and Schoolhouse will be open Sundays in June, July and August.* Find full details including weekly themes and descriptions at www.chippewanaturecenter.org/homestead-sundays. *Except August 31
