Join the Alden B. Dow Home and Studio and the Mid-Century Modern Midland organization to celebrate the release of our new book, Mid-Century Modern Midland. The book launch is a free event and open to the public.

The event includes a short program, reception, and the option to purchase the book.

The beautiful 244-page coffee table book chronicles Midland’s unprecedented architectural legacy between 1930 and 1970, and validates Midland, Michigan, as the Mid-Century Modern City of America.
The book, which mainly consists of building photography, chronologically documents 403 MCM structures built in the mid-20th Century. Buildings span a list of structural types, demonstrating an architectural style that dominates the community and draws visitors from across the U.S. and beyond.
