Vanishing Elephant Players presents Mr. Burns: A Post-Electric Play by Anne Washburn

Mr. Burns depicts the evolution of the story from the Simpsons episode "Cape Feare" in the decades after an apocalyptic event. What will endure when the cataclysm arrives – when the grid fails, society crumbles, and we’re faced with the task of rebuilding? Anne Washburn’s imaginative dark comedy is an animated exploration of how the pop culture of one era might evolve into the mythology of another.NOTE: Play includes depictions of gun violence and some adult language. Discretion is advised.

Performance dates: May 29-30 at 7pm, May 31 at 3pm
