Musical Tribute to Roethke - Theodore Roethke Poetry Fest

The Theodore Roethke Poetry & Arts Festival celebrates the life and legacy of one of Michigan’s most recognized poets. Roethke won the Pulitzer Prize for poetry in 1954 and is widely known for his work exploring nature, identity and personal experience.

The SVSU choral group, The Cardinal Singers, will be joined by renowned soloist Emily Marvosh to perform an original composition by accomplished organist and composer Collin Whitfield, among other pieces in tribute to Theodore Roethke. First Presbyterian Church, 121 S Harrison St, Saginaw, MI 48602. This event is make possible through a Saginaw Community Foundation grant.
