Explore the Prehistoric Plant exhibit and learn all about the plants on display throughout the gardens that shared the land with dinosaurs and in many cases predated them. Discover some of the interesting characteristics that helped these plants survive a changing planet.
Be prepared for an approximately 2-mile journey that includes hills, stairs, and uneven footings, to ensure a rewarding experience for avid walkers. With a maximum of 20 guests per tour, you'll enjoy a personalized exploration of serene garden vistas. Please note, due to the rugged conditions, this tour is not suitable for strollers, wagons, wheelchairs, or personal mobility scooters. Comfortable and water-resistant shoes are recommended.
Cost $7 per person in addition to Dow Gardens admission. Space is limited, reservations are recommended. Reservations can be made by calling 989.631.2677 or added to your daily admission upon arrival if space is available. (Ages 8 and up).
