Celebrate the fall season by hunting for scarecrows throughout Little Forks Conservancy's Riverview Natural Area! Head out anytime during the month of October to participate by walking along the 1.5 mile south loop at this 419-acre nature preserve. Participants who take a photo of their hunt and e-mail it to lkelsey@littleforks.org will have a chance to win a nature gift basket featuring prizes from local businesses. Scavenger hunt maps will be available at the trailhead.Scarecrows were re-purposed from Dow Gardens Growin' Gardener's Program and created by high school students in Dow High School's GO GREEN club. We are thankful for their partnership that makes this event possible.
