Have you ever wanted to explore and discover a hidden underground passageway? “The Tunnel” is just one of the many captivating and enchanting surprises of the Alden B. Dow Home and Studio.
This private area is rarely opened for viewing, but for the months of February, March, and April, Saturday “Tunnel Tours” will include a trip down and through the underground tunnel that connects the Home to the Studio. Used to house many mechanical elements of the structure, the tunnel was occasionally the site of fun for the Dow family including a haunted-maze Halloween party. Be a modern explorer as you seek out the many fun and exciting elements of the world renowned Alden B. Dow Home and Studio.
Tunnel Tours occur Saturdays at 11am and 2pm in February, March and April and during Spring Break Week (March 25–April 8, 2024).

Tours are by reservation only. Please reserve your spot at abdow.org or by calling (989) 839-2744. We are not accepting walk-in guests at this time.
