The Alice & Jack Wirt Public Library functions as the main or central library for the Bay County Library System. It is located on the east side of Bay City, Michigan, in the downtown area. In addition to housing the largest collection of materials in the system, it includes a business resource center and core reference collection, a local history and genealogy room, a computer lab, an outdoor reading garden, several study rooms, and a large community meeting room. The administrative offices are located on the second floor. Monday - Thursday: 10Am-8PM, Friday & Saturday: 9AM-5PM. Open Sundays 1Pm to 5PM (September through May only)
