Details

Chronicling Our Past is a special program put on by the Castle Museum's curatorial team to create a digital archive of Saginaw County photographs that better represent local events, activities, and everyday life from all communities.

During our open scanning sessions, individuals are invited to come in and bring their historic photos (think your town's big parade, events, celebrations, rural life/urban life, etc.) to have them scanned by our curator. We will keep a digital copy in our collection and guests will receive a digital copy and their original photograph back.

We are hoping to better represent all of Saginaw County by collecting these disparate photographs from individals county-wide. If you have any questions, please reach out to Sandy Schwan at 989-752-2861 ext. 309
