Make a first museum visit feel exciting, playful, and welcoming! My First Art Museum Day is designed especially for children ages 1-5 and their families, with activities that invite young visitors to explore art through stories, movement, looking, and making.

Families can enjoy story time with the Public Libraries of Saginaw, activities with the READ Association, a self-guided color scavenger hunt, a Model Magic clay project inspired by the museum’s hanging glass sculpture, and plenty of opportunities to interact with art in the galleries.
It’s a relaxed introduction to the museum built for curious little learners and the grown-ups who explore with them.
