The 24th Annual Walk for Hope on Sunday, August 2, at Saginaw Valley State University brings people together to honor loved ones, raise awareness, and support mental health and suicide prevention.
Our theme this year is Superheros! We celebrate everyday heroes—those who support others, speak openly about mental health, and take steps toward care and connection. Walk in honor, in memory, or in support—your presence matters.
Event Includes:
Untimed 5K Walk/Run or 1‑Mile Walk on paved SVSU paths
50+ resource and activity booths
Music, raffles, and guest speakers
Family‑friendly atmosphere
You can start or join a team, share your story and photos on social media, & walk with others who believe no one should feel alone.
Together, we walk for hope—one step, one connection at a time.
