Zehnder's Snowfest

January 25-30, 2017

One of the top snow sculpting events in North America for the past 23 years.  Features live entertainment in the warming tent, a fireworks display, kids' activities, and, of course, dozens of larger-than-life snow sculptures and ice carvings brought to life before your eyes.

Made-in-Michigan Film Festival

February 3-5, 2017

A fun film festival showcasing only Michigan-made films from university students to Michigan's elite filmmakers. Several activities planned, including a student workshop, Q&A sessions, a panel discussion and meeting the filmmakers.

Freeland Walleye Festival & Fishing Tournament

April 27-30, 2017

A fishing tournament and celebration of all things walleye.  Buy up some bargains at the community-wide rummage sale, let the kids drop a line in at the kids' fishing pond, or just kick back and enjoy gambling and games at the hospitality tent after you make the big catch.

Bringin' Back The 80's Fest

April 28-29, 2017

Put down your Atari, slap on some legwarmers, and tease that hair to high heaven, because Bringin' Back the 80's Fest is taking you on a time-warped trip back to the love-to-hate-it music, fashion, and trends of the 1980's.

MATRIX: Midland Festival

A summertime celebration of art, science, and humanity, featuring everything from foreign films to mind-blowing lectures and even headlining musicians.  A few of our past favorites?  Alton Brown of Food Network, comedian Bill Engvall, a bango-clad Steve Martin, and one of country's hottest heartthrobs-Blake Shelton.

World Expo of Beer

Michigan's largest international beer sampling event, highlighting over 150 brews and beverages from around the world.

Michigan's largest antique & collectible festival, featuring over 1,000 antique dealers spread over 80 acres... 3 times each year!  You'll uncover even more incredible finds at the "Taste of Michigan" and "Shop Michigan" stations, featuring all locally grown and hand-crafted products.

This Olympic-style event for dogs is all bark & no bite!  Plus, it's the largest in the nation. 

Saginaw GreekFest
June 2017

This time, it's okay to overdo it on the kabobs and baklava.  Saginaw's Annual GreekFest at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church (now in it's 36th year) brings over 80,000 people across a 3-day span to enjoy traditional dancing and delicious Greek food, all alongside a jam-packed hospitality tent.  Opa!          

KCQ Country Music Festival
June 2017

Some of country's hottest artists come to Saginaw, where over 100,000 fans take Ojibway Island by storm to sway all day and night to the sweet sounds of country music.

Frankenmuth Bavarian Festival
June 8-10, 2017

Listen to traditional Bavarian music fill the streets during a festive parade, then try a few rides before you sample delicious German foods, desserts, and ice-cold beer.  But really.  Try the rides before the food and beer. 

Bay City Fireworks Festival
June 29-July 1, 2017

One of the most spectacular displays in all of Michigan, complete with 3 nights of fireworks launched over the Bay City waterfront. 

Mid-Michigan Old Gas Tractor Show

One of the biggest, busiest, and best antique tractor shows in the Midwest.   From live crop harvesting and tractor pulling to antique tractor displays and a home-cooked barbeque feast, it's all in the name of cozy, out-in-the-country fun.

Blues Brews & Barbecue

A Kansas City Barbecue Society (KCBS) sanctioned competition where teams compete for barbecue bragging rights in four categories: chicken, ribs, pork, and brisket.  Pair that with some tasty microbrews and live blues music and you've got the recipe for a finger-lickin' good time. 

Frankenmuth Auto Fest
September 8-10, 2017

Over 2,000 classic cars, street rods, and muscle cars fill Frankenmuth's beautiful Heritage Park on the weekend following Friday night's Big Block Party on Main Street.

The only officially sanctioned Oktoberfest celebration outside of Munich, Germany.  Drink delicious German beer and get your feet tapping across a 68' x 60' wooden dance floor inside the Harvey Kern Pavilian, a scaled down version of an authentic German beer hall.
