Second Thursdays, May to September, head to Frankenmuth River Place Shops' east lot to feast on street fare from 20-plus Michigan food trucks! Listen to live music and toss back brews while you taste your way through the fleet of mobile eateries!
Food Truck Faceoff (June 18, July 9, August 26, September 16) Returning to Downtown Saginaw's outdoor Huntington Event Park for multiple dates this summer, each "faceoff" features a different lineup of trucks & tastes, live music & yard games... and free admission!
Art & Garden Festival (June 23) For art and garden aficionados during the first blooming of the roses at Andersen Enrichment Center in Saginaw. Art fair with garden plants, accessories, and outdoor decor; garden vendors, hourly demonstrations, silent auction, picnic lunch, and homemade strawberry shortcake!
St. Stan's Polish Festival (June 24 - 27) Dance into Bay City for carnival rides, a road race, and a massive entertainment tent; twirl to Polkas and dine on Polish & American food, cold beer, and wine coolers!
Fireworks in Fun Town (July 3) Take in a beautiful fireworks display over Frankenmuth; show lasts 20 minutes in celebration of Independence Day.

Cool City Car Show & Cruze (July 9 - 10) Rain or shine, Friday night’s “cruze” ends with a street party in Bay City’s Midland Street Business District; enjoy a Saturday “cruze”, too, along with competitions and an awards ceremony.
Auburn Cornfest (July 11) With rides, food, and entertainment, official Cornfest details are still in the works, but the celebration continues with a “50 Years of Golden Ears” parade from 1 - 3 p.m. on July 11!
The Great Lakes Market - Summer Market (July 17 - 18) Free admission and parking; live music and local food trucks; kids, “fur babies”, and families welcome! Peruse an organized maze of locally made jewelry, arts & crafts, clothing, flowers, and food.

Cass River Colonial Encampment (July 17 - 18) Experience an 18th-Century encampment (British, French, and American) in Frankenmuth; tactical battle reenactments, flag raising, musket firing, period concerts and games, military camp tours, and historical vendors.
Munger Potato Festival (July 29 - August 1) Activities for the whole family including a 5k Spud Run, Kid’s Day, Figure 8 Derby, Potato Queen Contest, carnival rides, festival foods and fries, and beer tent with live music.
Frankenmuth Antique Fire Muster (July 31) Antique fire truck displays and pumping events, plus a Saturday morning parade and flea market.

Saginaw County Fair (August 3 - 7) Delighting for more than 100 years, experience animals, rides, fair food, nightly grandstand attractions, and fireworks every night.
Midland Riverdays Festival / Midland Balloon Fest (August 5 - 7) With live musical entertainment, scenic hot air balloons, food, and fun, set your sights high as this festival gets closer.
Frankenmuth Flower Festival (August 6 - 15) Breathtaking floral beauty and displays, garden tours, and golden sunflower fields at Grandpa Tiny’s Farm. Enjoy U-Pick, Dinner in the Sunflowers, Sunflower Fun Color Run, Plein Air painters, craft vendors, and food trucks.
Michigan Honey Festival (August 7) Live demonstrations in Frankenmuth, hive and honey judging, honey tasting, children’s games and activities. Inexpensive & informative, beekeepers, non-beekeepers & “newbee's" will all walk away with something!
Bay County Fair (August 10 - 14) Carnival rides & midway with a magician, “Ride a Clyde”, and livestock exhibitions; horse shows, merchant building, and grandstand events including a rodeo and truck & tractor pull.
Frankenmuth Summer Music Fest (August 10 - 14) One of the few remaining traditional Polka festivals! Enjoy cold beer and local Kern's bratwurst with kraut after you half-step on the wooden dance floor!
Chalk Walk Art Festival (August 14) Take to the streets, or 3rd St. in Downtown Bay City, for a LIVE chalk art competition, musical entertainment, and activities for kids and families.
Saginaw Old Town Art Fair (August 13 - 15) See fine art for viewing and purchase; partake in free art-based activities and live art demonstrations along the Old Town streets.
Saginaw African Cultural Festival (August 13 - 15) Attend the oldest on-going Black Arts Festival in the country, active since 1969. With a goal of raising consciousness of the African American community and Saginaw at large, experience music, food, and guest speakers.
Midland County Fair (August 15 - 21) Experience it all! Rides, concerts, Super Kicker Rodeo, 4-H exhibits, the Aussie Kingdom Exhibit, Children's Pedal Pull, auctions, and more.
Mid-Michigan Old Gas Tractor Show (August 19 - 22) Featuring foreign-made tractors and farm trucks from 1960 or before; a humongous flea market, arts & crafts, operating displays, tractor pulls, parades, camping, food & fun for all ages.
Midland Folk Music Festival (August 26 - 29) Experience a toe-tapping lineup of traditional folk musicians. Share in folklore, dancing, and fun!
Tapped: Downtown Midland's Craft Beer Festival (August 28) With a new location and tasting layout — grouping sampling into sections like "Fruits & Sours" or "Pilsners, Pale Ales & Wheat" — enjoy Tapped's return with craft beer tasting, local food trucks, live music, and a Main Street After Party!
