This seven gallery museum tells the story of Frankenmuth from it's founding in 1845 as a German Lutheran missionary colony through its evolution into one of Michigan's favorite tourist draws. Includes hands-on exhibits, video, audio, and artifacts. Temporary exhibits are presented throughout the year, and provide fascinating stories of local, national, and world historical events. Frankenmuth's best value at just $2 admission for adults, $1 for students, and $5 for an entire family. Gift shop features locally crafted and European gifts, as well as books, toys, and much more.
