Great Lakes Bay Museums & History

Our region is home to some pretty memorable faces and places.  Like world-renowned architect Alden B. Dow and Pulitzer Prize-winning poet Theodore Roethke.  You can take a walk along the paths of these and other historic figures.  Even sit in the homes where they once dreamed and created.  Or you can visit one of our incredible historical museums, vintage theatres, or memorials.

In fact, we're home to the only military museum dedicated to the wartime experiences of one state's veterans, as well as the Castle Museum, recognized with the highest level of achievement for preservation of state and local history.  Whatever piece of history you're interested in, come dust it off here in the Great Lakes Bay and uncover something magical.
